What is incense for spiritual work?
As someone who developed a sensitivity to strong synthetic smells and learned to appreciate and feel the essence of the purity of the plants in their rawest form, I discovered that the smoke of those medicinal plants creates a peaceful, harmonious and clean atmosphere and for me this is the essence of working with the smoke. The basis with which I build new recipes.
Each incense starts from an idea and goes through a series of trials and precisions until a natural and powerful incense is released into the world, designed to raise the prayers and frequency while energetically purifying and calling for harmony, stability and grounding. This time I chose to use green Hojari Frankincense, white and brown Copal (thanks to Yotam 🙏🏾 who collected this enchanted resin in Mexico) and Cedar with a touch of White Sage, Palo Santo and Fir resin.
In these challenging times in which we live in, I felt the need to create an incense that could contain the range of emotions that I personally experience... from the lull between one news flash to another... 🥺 And of course, just as it is outside - so within - there is also a roller coaster inside me that needs the this moment... this breath... this connection...
So much is happening and my heart needed help to contain and find stable grounds and I chose the smoke of these plants for this difficult task...🌿
